ECUC Supports Credit Unions Hit by Hurricanes with Donation to CUAid - FINANCIAL-24

 In the wake of the recent hurricanes, ECUC is stepping up to help our sister credit unions that are wrestling with the devastating impact of these historic storms.  So many credit unions, including our school and university member credit unions are generously supporting the relief effort.  The Council has made a contribution to CU Aid sponsored by the National Credit Union Foundation  and we  encourage our membership to continue to help in even the smallest ways, as the recent storm Irma continues to move north. www.CUAid.coop.

As of September 8 ...

 The National Credit Union Foundation (the Foundation) has activated the online disaster relief system CUAid.coop to raise money for credit union people in Texas affected by Tropical Storm Harvey. Credit union supporters in every state can make donations at cuaid.coop. 

“With the devastating flooding caused by Harvey, our credit union brothers and sisters need help,” said Foundation Executive Director Gigi Hyland. “Everyone who supports CUAid is helping affected credit union people directly with critical needs, longer-term recovery needs, operational needs, and assisting credit union members.”
