ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down an Iranian military drone on June 19, Foreign Office (FO) confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday.
The office stated that the air force shot down the unmanned aircraft.
Reportedly, the drone flew around four kilometers inside Pakistani territory. Spokesperson for the Foreign Office reported that authorities concerned have exchanged information over the issue with Iranian officials.

Pakistan is being subjected to growing surveillance along the borders as earlier in March it was reported that India was using US-made drones to spy along the Line of Control (LoC) in Himalayan state of Kashmir.
The 'spy drones' with night-vision cameras took off from Poonch and Rajouri sectors whereas the data center of the drones was established in Sri Nagar, Dunya News reported on March 19.
Earlier on November 20, 2016, Pakistan army shot down an Indian drone at LoC in Rakh Chakri sector. - NNI
