Mascot Party Kicks Off Birthday Celebration - FINANCIAL-24
First Community Credit Union’s mascot, Louie Loanstar, turned ten over the weekend and there was no shortage of fun at his birthday party. Louie celebrated with local celebrities like, Fredbird™, Louie (from the St. Louis Blues), and his favorite TV patrol dogs, who all stopped by to help wish him a ‘happy birthday’. Over 200 of Louie’s Rising S.T.A.R.S. members also joined the party.The day kicked off with a visit from the Bubble Bus, where party goers danced along with thousands of bubbles. Members enjoyed popcorn and cupcakes while they hung out with all the mascots. All the fun concluded by serenading Louie with the “Happy Birthday” song and a group photo.
About Rising S.T.A.R.S. Program
All First Community members age 12 and under are automatically enrolled in Rising S.T.A.R.S., a savings account that encourages smart saving habits and financial responsibility. S.T.A.R.S. stands for Savings, Teamwork, Activities, Report Cards and Schools. Youth members also receive invitations to special events, $1 for every “A” earned on their report card, and a special prize when they reach $200.
