ROTARY DAR MARATHON 2017 TARGETS SH1BN FOR CHARITY - FINANCIAL-24
The 9th edition of the Rotary Dar Marathon which covered 42.2km of running, walking and cycling attracted over 15,000 participants, Bank M which is the main partner in the event said in a statement yesterday.
Dar es Salaam. The Rotary Dar Marathon which was conducted in the city on Saturday is targeting to raise about Sh1 billion to support disability hospital by constructing a larger clinic.
The 9th edition of the Rotary Dar Marathon which covered 42.2km of running, walking and cycling attracted over 15,000 participants, Bank M which is the main partner in the event said in a statement yesterday.
“The event has been successful. We have managed to receive so many pledges and cash collections which we are still counting,” said marathon committee chairperson Ms Catherinerose Barretto.
