Khubaib Foundation Pakistan serving for rehabilitation of Syrian Refugees




Mufti Muhammad Arif and Syed Salman Tahir Team Leader of Khubaib Foundation Pakistan (KFP) visited Karachi and briefed about current activities of KFP to the senior journalists during the reported week. They also sent a relief container for Syrian Refugees at Turkish border in the presence  and prays of Mufti Taqi Usmani.
Salman said KFP is associated with IHH an NGO of Turkey which is serving in 130 countries. He said KFP is on total funding from Turkey for there all activities now they will consider and expecting local funding from the masses of Pakistan for their rehabilitation, education and orphanage houses running by KFP in various cities of Pakistan.
He said around four million refugees from Syria to Turkey border, they are serving for them from 2011-12 with the help of IHH. They are making 150,000 breads daily for them and resolving their day to day problems. He said they have recently sent seven containers of food, garments and medicine and will be sending ten more containers during the next two months.
He informed that they are running Orphanage houses with state of the art facilities. At present they are serving for 1300 orphans with care of all dignities. Management and orphans eat together same food at same place on daily basis, anyone can visit these center any time without prior information. He said they have also built around 1000 homes for different affecters in flood and disasters in Pakistan.
Salman said Khubaib Foundation is a registered, independent, non-profit, non-government, educational and social welfare organization registered in May 1999 as a Trust under the Trust Act. Since its inception, the Foundation has been working for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of different factions of the society mainly orphans, prisoners, widows and destitute people.

Kibet Bitok, High Commissioner of Kenya visits FPCCI



Prof. Julius Kibet Bitok, High Commissioner of Kenya visited FPCCI during the reported week. While welcoming the High Commissioner, Irfan Sarwana VP FPCCI briefly informed the activities of FPCCI in promoting bilateral relations and stated that Pakistan is very much to strengthen trade ties and exploring new bilateral trade prospects as huge potential to further enhance bilateral trade relations exist between the two countries. Both countries are enjoying diplomatic relations since 1960s and bilateral trade between both countries is growing steadily and stood at US$ 628 million which is in favor of Kenya, he added. 
Pakistan imports 40 percent of its tea requirement from Kenya; which is the third largest after Egypt and UK. Sarwana emphasized on the need of exchange of trade delegations and holding of exhibitions for displaying their products on reciprocal basis. 
Prof. Julius Kibet Bitok, High Commissioner of Kenya thanked Sarwana for inviting him and agreed to hold exhibitions to attract buyers for exploring markets of new products. He further said that there is no restriction on any Pakistani national to visit Kenya as they have very liberal policy to issue visa on arrival at the airport. His Excellency extended open invitation to members to visit Kenya. 


Jazb-e-Daroon

A theatrical performance was exhibited in one of the city's renowned schools, The Generation's School. The students performed on the plays and poetries of exemplary and august literature legends - Shakespeare and Iqbal.
The event followed the theme of 'Jazb-e-Daroon' in which every rendition revolved around ethical values. The mesmerizing performance of students created an enchanted ambiance which left the audience spell bound. The talent of the younglings astonished the parents who appreciated the teachers and the school who displayed the children's talent profoundly on stage.
